Description

This is a really special painting that is acrylic on gold leaf on canvas. A brilliant sun is rising and the mist is starting to rise in the wood. Two little hares run down the hill to meeting at the shimmering lily pond.

I absolutely loved creating this and covered the whole canvas in gold leaf to make it really glow. It looks different each time you look at it depending on the time of day, and if you happen to walk past it at sunrise the sky and the pond glow so much that you feel like you’re actually there.
